Tim Hanson earned his B.A. from Indiana University South Bend and his M.F.A. in Design and Technical production from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Since then he has worked professionally at the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas and was the Technical Director for San Jose Repertory Theatre in San Jose, California. In the academic world Tim was the Technical Director at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Tim has also worked in film as a Gaffer and Draftsman on the film Prancer which was filmed in La Porte, New Carlisle and Three Oaks.

Tim’s passion rests in the joy of watching his students discover new and exciting things in Theatre.
